Bali 8 Days and 7 Nights Tour Package: Discover the Magic of Bali

4.5 (161 reviews)

Eight days covers everything the week-long trip does, and adds a day that’s pure fun: water sports in the morning, a coffee plantation at midday, and a Balinese cooking class in the afternoon. You get Ubud’s greenery, the Nusa Penida boat trip, the East Bali temples, and Seminyak’s nightlife, all at a pace that never feels rushed.

Day 1: Arrival, Uluwatu Temple, and the Kecak dance

The trip starts at Ngurah Rai International Airport, where our representative meets you and transfers you to your hotel in Kuta or Nusa Dua, with time to rest after the flight. In the late afternoon we head to Uluwatu Temple, perched on a cliff above the ocean and at its best around sunset. Afterward comes the Kecak Fire Dance, a retelling of the Ramayana carried by massed chanting and dramatic choreography.

  • Accommodation: Hotel in Kuta/Nusa Dua.
  • Meals: Dinner.

Day 2: Ubud, rice terraces, and waterfalls

After breakfast we head to Ubud, the cultural heart of Bali. The first stop is Tegenungan Waterfall, where you can enjoy the view or swim in the natural pool below the falls.

Next are the Tegalalang Rice Terraces. Walk through the tiers and see the Subak irrigation system the Balinese have used for hundreds of years.

In the afternoon we visit Ubud Palace and walk the Ubud Art Market, with its local crafts, textiles, and artwork.

  • Accommodation: Hotel in Ubud.
  • Meals: Breakfast, lunch.

Day 3: Kintamani and the hot springs

The day starts with the traditional Barong and Keris Dance in Batubulan Village, a performance of the everlasting battle between good and evil. Then we drive up to the Kintamani highlands for the view over the active Mount Batur volcano and Lake Batur.

After lunch, soak at the Toya Devasya Hot Springs, natural hot pools with Mount Batur as the backdrop.

  • Accommodation: Hotel in Ubud.
  • Meals: Breakfast, lunch.

Day 4: Bedugul and Tanah Lot

After breakfast we head for the cool mountain area of Bedugul and Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, which sits on the shore of Lake Beratan among mountains and gardens.

We continue to the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with some of the broadest terraced views on the island. In the afternoon we visit Tanah Lot, the sea temple built on a rock outcrop in the ocean and famous for its sunsets.

  • Accommodation: Hotel in Seminyak.
  • Meals: Breakfast, lunch.

Day 5: Nusa Penida

A fast boat takes you across to Nusa Penida for the day. The headline stop is Kelingking Beach, whose towering cliffs and deep blue water have earned it the nickname of a lost world.

Then come Broken Beach and Angel’s Billabong, with their strange rock formations and clear tidal water. After lunch at a local restaurant, we finish at Crystal Bay for beach time or snorkeling over the coral reefs.

  • Accommodation: Hotel in Seminyak.
  • Meals: Breakfast, lunch.

Day 6: Water sports and Balinese culture

The morning is for water sports at Tanjung Benoa Beach: jet skiing, parasailing, or a banana boat ride. Afterward we visit a Balinese coffee plantation, where you’ll see the traditional coffee-making process and sample local varieties, including the famous Kopi Luwak.

In the afternoon comes a hands-on Balinese cooking class, where you’ll prepare authentic dishes with fresh local ingredients.

  • Accommodation: Hotel in Seminyak.
  • Meals: Breakfast, lunch.

Day 7: East Bali, Besakih Temple, and Tirta Gangga

Day 7 covers the east of the island, starting with Besakih, the largest and most sacred temple in Bali. Known as the Mother Temple, it sits with a clear view of Mount Agung. Then comes the Tirta Gangga Water Palace, an old royal garden of pools and fountains that makes for a quiet stroll. After lunch we visit Lempuyang Temple and its Gate of Heaven, where the classic photo frames Mount Agung between the gates.

  • Accommodation: Hotel in Seminyak.
  • Meals: Breakfast, lunch.

Day 8: Departure

The final morning is for relaxing at the hotel or last-minute souvenir shopping. Depending on your schedule, we can fit in a short trip to Kuta Beach or the Seminyak boutiques.

Then we drop you at Ngurah Rai International Airport for your flight home.

Guides, hotels, and transfers are arranged end to end.

It suits families, couples, and groups.
