Bali 6 Days and 5 Nights Tour Package: A Dream Getaway to the Island of Gods

Six days is where a Bali trip stops being a highlights reel and starts feeling like a proper visit. This program covers the sea temples, the volcano country, Ubud and its art villages, and adds what shorter itineraries can’t fit: a full day on the island of Nusa Penida. It suits first-timers and returners alike.

Day 1: Arrival, Uluwatu Temple, and the Kecak dance

Arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport, where our guide meets you and takes you to your hotel in Kuta or Nusa Dua. Take some time to rest before the evening.

In the late afternoon we drive to Uluwatu Temple, which sits on a cliff 70 meters above the Indian Ocean and is one of Bali’s most sacred sea temples. At sunset, in the temple grounds, you’ll watch the famous Kecak fire dance, a performance that tells the story of the Ramayana as the light fades over the water.

Day 2: Kintamani and Ubud

Day 2 starts at Kintamani, with its views over the active Mount Batur and Lake Batur. From there we continue to Ubud, Bali’s cultural center, to explore Ubud Palace and the Ubud Art Market with its local arts and crafts.

Day 3: Art villages, Tegalalang, and the Monkey Forest

The third day mixes culture and countryside. First thing in the morning we visit Batubulan village for the traditional Barong and Keris dance, which depicts the eternal battle between good and evil. From there we continue to two artisan villages: Celuk, known for gold and silver work, and Mas, known for fine wood carving.

Then come Tegalalang’s rice terraces, green tiers that double as a lesson in traditional Balinese farming and one of the island’s best photo spots.

At lunchtime we stop at Kintamani for another look at Mount Batur and Lake Batur, this time over a meal.

After lunch we walk the Sacred Monkey Forest in Ubud, home to hundreds of long-tailed macaques and a set of ancient temples. The monkeys are curious and will come to you.

The day ends at the Ubud Art Market, where you can pick up handicrafts, textiles, and clothing.

Day 4: Nusa Penida

After breakfast we take an express boat to Nusa Penida, the largely unspoiled island off Bali’s southeast coast.

The first stop is Kelingking Beach, better known as T-Rex Bay for the shape of its headland. The lookout gives you the turquoise sea and the cliffs in one frame, with time to take photos and explore.

Next are Broken Beach (Pasih Uug) and Angel’s Billabong, a collapsed sea arch and a clear natural tidal pool a short walk apart, followed by lunch at a nearby restaurant serving Indonesian food.

The last stop is Crystal Bay, which has some of the clearest water and best snorkeling around. Swim, snorkel, or just sit on the beach before the boat back to Bali in the late afternoon.

Day 5: Water sports and the Bali Swing

Adrenaline day. We start at Tanjung Benoa Beach, Bali’s water sports hub: jet skis, parasailing, banana boats, and more. Race across the water or watch from the sand.

Then the Bali Swing, which sends you flying out high above the forest. The views from treetop height are worth the nerves.

After lunch we visit a Balinese coffee plantation, where you can taste locally grown coffee and tea, including Kopi Luwak, the most expensive coffee on earth, made from beans collected after civet cats have eaten and digested them. You’ll see how it’s brewed before you try it.

The rest of the day is free: explore on your own, or book a traditional Balinese massage at your hotel.

Day 6: Shopping and departure

The last morning is free for markets, last-minute souvenirs, or the hotel pool. Depending on your departure time, we can also fit in the Kuta Art Market or the boutiques of Seminyak Village.

Then we take you to Ngurah Rai International Airport for your flight home.

Things to remember

Best time to visit: Bali works year-round, but the dry season (April to October) has the best weather for being outdoors.
Local etiquette: Bali is deeply religious. Dress modestly at temples and follow each temple’s guidelines.
