Bali 5 Days and 4 Nights Tour Package: The Ultimate Island Adventure

Bali 5 Days and 4 Nights Tour Package: The Ultimate Island Adventure

4.7 (429 reviews)

Five days gives you time to see Bali properly: the sea temples, the volcano country, the northern highlands, and a full day of adventure, with hotels that move with the itinerary so you’re never backtracking. It works whether you’re here for the culture, the landscapes, or mostly to relax.

Day 1: Arrival, Uluwatu Temple, and the Kecak dance

Your visit begins at Ngurah Rai International Airport, where our representative meets you and takes you to your accommodation. Once you’ve freshened up, the first stop is Uluwatu Temple.

Uluwatu sits on a cliff above the Indian Ocean, one of six important sea temples along Bali’s coast. We’ll walk the grounds and talk about the temple’s place in Balinese Hinduism. At dusk you’ll watch the Kecak Fire Dance, a classic Balinese performance of the Ramayana: dancers in striking costumes chanting in rhythm as the sun sets behind them.

  • Accommodation: Hotel in Kuta or Nusa Dua.
  • Meals: Dinner.

Day 2: Full day in Kintamani and Ubud

Day 2 is a full day in the cultural heart of the island. The first stop is the village of Batubulan for the Barong dance, the traditional performance of the struggle between good and evil.

Next is Celuk village, known for gold and silver jewelry, then Mas village, known for its wood carvers. You can watch the artisans work and buy from them directly if something catches your eye.

The day continues at the Tegalalang Rice Terraces, green tiers shaped by Bali’s ancient Subak irrigation system and a good spot for photos.

We then head up to Kintamani for the panoramic view of Mount Batur, an active volcano, and Lake Batur. Lunch is at a restaurant overlooking both. Afterwards we visit Tirta Empul, a holy water temple where locals and visitors bathe in the sacred springs.

The day ends at the Sacred Monkey Forest in Ubud, a forest of ancient temples that’s home to hundreds of macaques.

  • Accommodation: Hotel in Ubud.
  • Meals: Breakfast, lunch.

Day 3: Tanah Lot and northern Bali

The third day heads north into the highlands. It starts at Taman Ayun Temple, a classic Balinese complex set among gardens and still water.

Then comes Tanah Lot, possibly the most photographed spot in Bali. The temple stands on a rock in the sea, best seen at high tide, and the sunsets are famous. There’s time to browse the stalls around it, where locals sell souvenirs and refreshments.

From there we drive to the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the terracing seems to run to the horizon. Walk the fields at your own pace and learn how the Subak irrigation system shaped this landscape.

The day closes at Ulun Danu Beratan, a water temple on the shore of Lake Bratan. From most angles it appears to float on the lake, and the gardens around it make it one of the most peaceful places on the island.

  • Accommodation: Hotel in Seminyak.
  • Meals: Breakfast, lunch.

Day 4: Bali Swing and water sports

Day 4 is the adventure day. It starts at the Bali Swing, where you swing out high over the forest and fields. Good for adrenaline, better for photos.

Then it’s down to Tanjung Benoa Beach for water sports: jet skiing, parasailing, banana boat rides, and more. If speed isn’t your thing, the beach itself is worth the trip.

Lunch is by the beach, and the rest of the day is yours: the hotel pool, a Balinese massage, or the shops and markets of Seminyak.

  • Accommodation: Hotel in Seminyak.
  • Meals: Breakfast, lunch.

Day 5: Shopping and departure

The final morning is for relaxing or last-minute shopping. Bali’s markets sell everything from handmade crafts to fashion. If time allows, we can fit in Kuta Beach for a last look at the coast, or Seminyak Village if you prefer boutiques.

Afterward we transfer you to the airport for your flight home.

  • Meals: Breakfast.

Why this package

Five days is the sweet spot for a first Bali trip: long enough to cover the temples, the terraces, and a full adventure day, short enough to fit a normal holiday allowance. The route is planned so each night’s hotel sits near the next day’s sights, and we handle all the details in between.

It works for families, groups of friends, and couples.

Tips for the trip

  • What to wear: Bali is tropical, so pack light, loose clothing. Good walking shoes and sun protection matter.
  • Currency: The local currency is the Indonesian Rupiah. Carry small banknotes for small shops and street markets.
  • Respect local traditions: Bali is predominantly Hindu and temples are part of everyday life. Follow the etiquette when visiting them.
  • Hydrate: It’s hot and humid. Drink water through the day.
